Local Storm Intercepts

Storm chasing need not be a one-season opportunity.  Hometown chases outside of the tornado season may bring the same adrenaline rushes, passionate focus, artistic enjoyment and success that chasing tornadoes offers in the Spring.

Enormous beauty lies in the elements the year 'round, and it is this appreciation of beauty that underscores my joy of chasing.

My hometown of Richardson lies in north-central Texas, just north of the Dallas city limits.  Chasing in my region off-season, while relatively infrequent, has yielded truly exciting experiences.  The following accounts of interesting weather will be updated on a regular basis.  Feel free to email me with any experience that you have enjoyed and would like to share.
